Catie Armbrecht is from Cleveland, OH. She graduated from Ohio State in May 2021 with a BFA in Dance, a business minor, and a complete pre-physical therapy track. Her most recent involvements have been summer intensives with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, a study abroad to Denmark with the Ohio State Dance Department, and performing in Cleveland Dance Festival. She is currently working towards her Comprehensive Pilates and GYROTONIC® certifications. Catie can’t wait to continue learning and teaching movement, and to be an apprentice with Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre this fall.

Moving forward, Catie hopes to expand her performance and

choreographic opportunities to other cities and get acquainted with other artists. She plans to intertwine her knowledge of dance and pilates to further her training and share those benefits with other dancers. She is passionate about the body, the possibilities of movement, and helping others feel good in their bodies.
